Churpi Yak Cheese Bars are made from a creamy yak milk mixture. The yaks live in the Himalaya's and feed on pollution-free grass and drink water of maximum purity. Their milk is turned into cheese, dried and smoked to create a unique long lasting chew bar that is 100% natural and easy to digest.

 

How is a Yak bar made?

To produce Churpi, the milk is boiled and a very small amount of lime juice and salt is added to coagulate (harden) the milk, which is then compressed in flat cloth molds and dried by smoking them for 28 days. This process gives the Churpi Bar it's unique taste.
